Store
Orders always live on the Shopify shop. GiftDesk campaigns attach or create shop orders; they do not replace Admin order truth.
Attach existing orders
Use campaign membership tags to pull matching orders onto the desk.
Create into a campaign
Use the Admin create-orders flow when the store is generating the batch (draft orders with gift attributes / mute rules as configured). Plus shops may also use API helpers that return draft-ready payloads — see API.
Status on the desk
Fulfillment and tracking sync into the shared desk so the gift team can follow the batch without asking the shop for every screenshot.
